Gregoire Castle– Irasburg, Vermont
Have you ever wanted to stay in a European style castle, but a trip to Europe is just too much of a stretch? Then all you need to do is point your compass to Vermont to stay in this luxury castle!
Inside Gregoire Castle you will find 6 bedrooms and 5 baths. The home will sleep up to ten guests. The entire home is filled with high end furnishings and appliances, yet tastefully decorated in a way that gives a medieval castle feel.
The castle also features a grand piano, three working fireplaces, a game room with foosball and shuffleboard, and Smart TVs located throughout the home. As an added bonus, there is fiber optic wifi throughout the castle. This is the only rental home in this area of Vermont with fiber internet.
Outside the castle boasts a large pond stocked with rainbow trout. Fishing gear and three two-person kayaks are included. There are paths for taking strolls through the castle’s 20 acres of wooded property. There are two patios with furniture and dining tables. The castle has a 6-7 person hot tub. At night, have a seat around the custom built fire pit.
A stay at Gregoire Castle would certainly make a memorable family vacation. It certainly caught our eyes. We may just need to plan a New England vacation in the near future.

LuxTug– Louisa, Virginia
This is actually REALLY cool. Part camping/part houseboat/part cabin…the LuxTug will definitely make for a unique family vacation. Located on a private 8 acre lake and surrounded by 142 acres of forested trails, this vacation home is perfect if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The main level of the boat has a well equipped kitchen and one bedroom. There is a dining area along with a full bathroom with shower and flushing toilet. The master bedroom is in the upper/captains area of the boat and a king bed plus an outdoor viewing area with 360 degree viewing of the lake and forest.
Outside the boat, you will find a small beach area. The lake is very swimmable. Kayaks are provided for guest use. There is a grated fire pit that can be used to bbq meals as well. There are trails right outside the boat that can be taken all the way around the lake if you wish.
A vacation to the LuxTug will be like no other. Enjoy nature, clear night stargazing, relaxing strolls through the woods, meet the owner’s farm animals and more.

Duvall House– Alexandria, Virginia
How often can you claim to vacation in a home where former President George Washington once dined? Well, if you book a stay at Duvall House, you can proudly make that claim! Upon returning from leading the colonial troops to victory against the British, George Washington was hosted to a massive celebration at this former tavern.
Today, Duvall House has been restored to its original glory. It boasts 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms spread over a massive 4000 square feet. Other rooms include a double parlor, dining room, kitchen, office and den. The entire second floor is a ballroom! When you stay at Duvall House, you will have the entire home to yourself.
Located in Old Town Alexandria, Duvall House is steps away from shops, dining, coffee shops, the Potomac River boardwalk and more. From there you can water taxi to Georgetown. Also nearby is the free trolley that takes you to the DC Metro station.

1870 Savannah Loft– Savannah, Georgia
We LOVE Savannah (which reminds us, we need to get back!) We can’t think of a better way to enjoy this beautiful and historic city than a home right in the middle of all of the action! Dining, shopping, and all of the sights are literally outside your door!
This historic home boasts 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and will sleep up to 8. The exposed brick walls and hardwood floors are all original. The kitchen (it’ll be hard to cook with so much delicious food around you) is fully equipped and has stainless steel appliances. There is abundant natural light, making the home feel very open and welcoming!
We love the central location of this gorgeous home. It is just steps from the popular Broughton Street. Bay Street, River Street, and all of Savannah’s popular squares and parks are all an easy walk from your home. The location is nearly perfect!

Prince of Tides– Emerald Isle, North Carolina
When we are looking for a beach vacation home, there are several points that we love to check off. This home pretty much checks them all. Beachfront. Plenty of space (7BR/7BA and over 5200 sq/ft!). Well equipped kitchen. Elevator. Tons of windows. Heated pool. Close to restaurants and shopping. Prince of Tides has it all!
We love that you can walk off the rear deck, cross over the dunes via a wood walkway, and enter your own glorious slice of beach! We also love that you can walk off the front porch and be in Emerald Isle’s town center is just a few blocks away.
The living area’s have so much natural light coming through the numerous windows. You get ocean views no matter where you look! All rooms are tastefully decorated and inviting. It definitely feels like a home away from home! This home certainly belongs on our list of unique and amazing rental homes!

132 Decatur– Cape May, New Jersey
There is just something about old Victorian homes. If you are a fan of Victorian homes like we are, maybe a vacation to Cape May, NJ should be in your future. Cape May is filled with historic and brightly painted Victorian homes. In fact, Cape May is one of only three cities in the entire US where the entire city is a historic district.
132 Decatur is a 6BR/3.5BA home that will sleep up to 12. One of the biggest draws to this home is the large from porch, perfect for enjoying summers while watching people and horse drawn carriages stroll by. The home has retained much of its historic charm while offering modern comforts as central AC and heat. The back yard is fenced, so you can allow your children to play!
The home is perfectly located. You are just one block from Cape May’s wide beaches (the home has an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand!). You are also just a few short blocks from downtown Cape May’s dining and shopping district. Take a horse drawn carriage ride of your own to take in all of the sights of this beautiful town!
