Favorite Things to Do

We loved taking tours of the bay. One of the best is Ship Island Excursions. They offer dolphin tours and ferries to Ship Island. Very well run company.

One of the most memorable parts of our trip was taking a ride on the Betsy Ann Riverboat. What made it so memorable?  In addition to being on a completely restored paddle wheel riverboat, the captain allowed Ian to take the wheel and captain the boat for a good while. He was all smiles!

There is no such thing as bad baseball. This is especially true when the stadium offers fantastic views of the Gulf of Mexico. Biloxi Shuckers minor league baseball is always so much fun with tons of fan interaction.

Gulf Islands Waterpark is the largest waterpark on the Gulf Coast. There are 11 attractions to keep kids of all ages entertained for hours!

Weather on the Gulf Coast can always be unpredictable. For days when those rain clouds just won’t go away, a trip to Altitude Indoor Trampoline Park is a sure fire way to shoo away the bad weather blues!

Tasty Places to Eat

No vacation to the Biloxi area is complete without a trip to Tatonut Donuts in downtown Ocean Springs. There will be a line out the door most mornings, but no need to worry. The family has been running the shop since 1960, so they know how to keep the line moving.

Burger Burger has, well…you guessed it! And are they delicious. Signature burgers on po’ boy bread, sandwiches & more served in homey, old-time digs with patio.

Shaggy’s is a cool beach front, kid-friendly place with a focus on seafood. This place is lively and a ton of fun!

Fat Bottom BBQ- It may not be Texas BBQ, but this place has some really good food.

Woody’s Roadside– Solid menu with plenty of variety!
