County Highway 30A, or often just “30A” is a small roadway in South Walton County. It stretches for about 20 miles from Destin to Panama City, often right along the coast. If you are looking for 30A vacation rentals, you are in luck! There are hundreds to choose from, ranging from condo units to massive beachfront chalets.
We stayed in the Santa Rosa Beach portion of 30A in June 2021 and LOVED it. We are returning this summer, but staying closer to Panama City Beach this time around. In this article, we will be highlighting the best and most highly rated 30A vacation rentals all along that stretch.

White Starlight
We love all of the natural light that pours through the numerous windows. This vacation rental has 4BR/2BA and will sleep up to 12. Enjoy your morning coffee on the spacious deck. Then just head down a few steps and you are right on the powdery sugar sands that this part of Florida is know for.
Added bonus: Guests that book this home get added perks such as discounts for area restaurants and shopping and a stocked beach closet including beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and beach toys to enjoy during your stay!

Kokomo
Look at those views! Floor to ceiling windows in nearly every room make this home so inviting. We love the wide deck with see-thru panels to allow unobstructed views to the Gulf. The deck actually wraps all the way around the home!
Kokomo has 4BR and 4BA and will sleep 13. All bedrooms are upstairs. Three are king suites and one is a bunkroom that will sleep 5. Guests of Kokomo also get daily use of 6 beach chairs and 3 umbrellas each day set up by a local vendor (March-October rentals only). Guests also have 4 bikes for use during their stay!

Grayton Sea Glass
This 4BR/4BA home is located in the historic town of Old Grayton Beach. This is a custom built home, so it was built with lots of character. The entire home has a beachy feel, inside and out. Three bedrooms are king suites and the fourth has two sets of bunk beds. The home will sleep up to ten guests.
This home has a few unique features. The screened in porch has plenty of seating to enjoy bug-free evenings. Then there is the large patio overlooking the private, heated pool. There is even a bath house right next to the pool with hot and cold shower! And of course you come to 30A for the beach! The beach is a short walk down a residential street.

Smith House
You can stay in the most historic home in Grayton Beach! Originally built in 1925, it has been carefully renovated to bring in modern conveniences while maintaining is original charm. The home has two bedrooms and one bath. It will sleep up to 4 guests.
The coolest feature of this home is the screened in porch, which wraps around two sides of the home. There are two seating area, a comfy day bed, and a cypress dining table. Just off the screened porch is a brick patio with more chairs and a bbq grill. In the storage shed, you will find two beach bikes and beach wagon filled with tons of beach amenities including a cooler, umbrella, and more. This is a really cool vacation rental.

Heron’s Watch
What we love about Heron’s Watch is all of the flashes of color that fill this adorable beach cottage. The home has 3BR and 2BA and will sleep up to six guests. Every room is either painted in vibrant colors or has decor with pops of bright colors.
This home is conveniently located. You are just steps away from the community pool. Beach access is just 100 yards in one direction. Western Lake is just 100 yards in the other direction. Downtown Grayton Beach with its cute shops and restaurants is also very close by.

Clam I Am
A stay at Clam I Am is like taking two vacations in one! This 2BR/2BA sits right on Western Lake. It has 100 feet of lake frontage and its own dock! Western Lake is great for fishing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. If you wish to head to the beach, it is only a five minute walk…or take a kayak! Western Lake leads right to the Gulf!
The home itself is nicely renovated and decorated with a modern beachy theme. It has an AWESOME screened in porch, perfect for your morning coffee or an evening beverage. There’s even a comfy swinging daybed for afternoon naps! In addition to the screened porch, there is a large deck, fire pit, and plenty of outdoor seating. This house is a winner in our book!

Grayt Expectations
What’s not to love about this Grayton Beach, FL home? The home itself is gorgeous. There are 5BRs and 4BAs spread out within the home’s 2700+ square feet. The home will sleep up to 14 guests. There are 5 decks for outdoor relaxing. We love the 3rd floor crow’s nest. Those are some great views!
What sets this home apart from the others are all the extras. There is a hot tub on the back deck. There is a six-seater street legal golf cart for cruising around town. They also provide 5 cruiser bikes for enjoying the areas around Grayton Beach. This home is an absolute winner!

Day Dreamer
Day Dreamer is NOT your typical beach home, but that doesn’t make it any less desirable! This 5BR modern design new construction was built with luxury and comfort in mind. There are 5 bedrooms and the home will sleep up to 12 guests. The home also has a private pool and an AMAZING rooftop fire pit!! Peep that bunk room with two set up built-in bunk beds.
The backyard is where it is at! The private pool with pool house is great for entertaining. Cook up a meal on the grill and head over to the pool house with large table for outdoor dining. And of course you are here for the beach…it is only 150 yards away. You are also within walking distance of several restaurants and a Publix grocery store!

Another Dream
Another Dream is a cute townhome located in the town of Seaside along 30A. This home has two bedrooms and will sleep up to six guests. Two of the guests would use the trundle beds located up on the third floor lofts. Beyond the loft is the top floor viewing tower. There are some great views up there, especially sunrises and sunsets! We love that spiral staircase that goes through all levels of this vacation rental.
The home is within walking distance of the main shopping and dining district in Seaside. If you have a larger group, you can inquire about also booking the other half of the townhome, based on availability. This is definitely a cute vacation rental worth taking a look at!

Fish Tales
We really enjoy this charming cottage located in the town of Seaside. This vacation rental has 2 bedrooms and will sleep four guests. Fish Tales is located right on one Seaside’s walking paths and is just steps from the beach. The home is bright, cozy, and airy. It is filled with bright decor, including all varieties of decorative fish hanging from walls. This home is perfect for a family of four or a couple’s getaway.
The village of Seaside is so charming. Incredibly walkable, there are shops, eateries, and events all around you and nearly every day of the week. In fact, Seaside was the small town the was highlighted in the movie “The Truman Show!” If you are looking for a vacation rental that combines beautiful beaches with a town filled with things to do…Fish Tales would be it!!

Roger’s Lighthouse
This vacation rental is very similar to Fish Tales above, but slightly larger with three bedrooms and will sleep up to six guests. The home is located in the heart of Seaside. The beach is just five houses from the beach. All of the shops and dining of Seaside are just 25 yards away. Location, location, location! The home also includes 4 cruiser bikes for use during your stay!
We love the vibrant colors and unique design of the home. It is very inviting and welcoming. Like other homes in the area, there is a rooftop deck giving lots of great views. The home also has a nice shaded backyard and plenty of deck space for lounging and relaxing. Definitely check out this home for your next beach vacation!

All Laid Back
Take a look at this four bedroom home located in Seagrove Beach! All Laid Back is a larger home that will comfortably sleep up to ten of your favorite family members or friends. The home is conveniently located to both the beach and Eastern Lake. The interior of the home is bright, with soaring ceilings in the main living area. The entire home is tastefully decorated with beachy decor.
A few things set this vacation rental apart from other homes in the area. First thing you will notice is that the entire pool, patio, and outdoor kitchen area is screened in! No pesky bugs to detract from your time outdoors! Beyond that, you will find a very large backyard, perfect if you have younger kids that love to run around. All Laid Back is yet another great choice for your 30A beach vacation!

Blue’s Cottage
Rosemary Beach is a newer village along 30A. Like other villages along 30A, there is a cute town square area with gathering places, shopping, and dining. What makes Rosemary Beach unique is how it looks and feels like a European village complete with stone streets.
Blue’s Cottage fits the European look, but with a beachy twist! This vacation rental boasts 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and will sleep up to eight guests. All common areas are located on the main floor. Climb the floating steel, spiral staircase to the second floor where you’ll find two master suites. Continue up the staircase to the third floor where you will find two sets of bunk beds. Definitely a cool layout. Blue’s Cottage is an ideal choice when planning your 30A vacation!
